well, it's about time to continue the series of smores tapes. Sorry for being so slow.
Here we have another average sounding EXODUS show. Back home after their US tour with SLAYER and VENOM they play again a longer setlist. Includes the brand new "Pleasures Of The Flesh"!
This tape is quite generated, hissy and had some (lots!?) of issues that I tried to fix. Quite some work to do to get this sounding like it does. Of course a lower generation upgrade would be more than welcome!!
I couldn't find any other infos for this show. I asked in a facebook group and somebody mentioned POSSESSED was also on the billing, but I couldn't verify that. To add to the confusion EXODUS, POSSESSED and METAL CHURCH played the same venue exactly one year earlier. But this show was traded as 1985 from the very beginning and as mentioned above includes the "brand new" "Pleasures Of The Flesh", which didn't exist yet in 1984. That song debuted around May/June '85, so the date seems to be correct. If sokebody has some additional infos, maybe even a flyer to the show PLEASE let us know in the comments!
And now, here's the deal. I always read people complain that not enough harder Metal (Thrash/Death/Black) is shared on dime, so in an attempt to get some more posted I came up with the following idea. For each Death / Thrash or Black Metal show that you post (new show or reseed) I'll post something similar, too. If it's something new that I haven't in my collection yet you can even pm me some band wishs, I than will see what I can do!
And don't forget to thank people for their time in recording and sharing, as that can be motivating (or demotivating if not done!). Lets start some flood!!
